Black panther (2018)*' (Am I the only one who things this wasn't a great movie.. it was definitely one of the better Marvel movies, but the message was muddled. They kept bringing up things that people's ancestors did, but the take home message was the people shouldn't defined by their parents action. In numerous scenes, they refer to Martin Freeman as 'coloniser' - complete narrative dissonance. In the end, I was actually routing for Michael B Jordan's character - other than wanting to kill everyone, his world view made sense.)

Three billboards outside Ebbing Missouri (2017)**' (A pretty good movie - don't think this year's oscar bait movies are as good as last years as this wouldn't have had a look in. I enjoyed it, it doesn't pull punches, but the ending seemed very lacking. The end of the f**king world s01e01-08** (This was good. In the sea of terrible teen 'drama', this dark comedy is refreshing. It gets a bit long winded towards the end, but the ending was as it should be.)

The disaster artist (2017)**' (A really good movie, heart warming is how I would describe it, stays with you for while afterwards)
Jumanji: welcome to the jungle (2017)*' (A decent teen movie, complete with slapstick and stereotypes)
Thor ragnarok (2017)** (The best Marvel movie since Deadpool - decent humour and the correct amount of 'dread' for a non-crossover movie)

YuGiOh: the dark side of dimensions (2016)*' (an enjoyable yugioh movie, points added for making sure the pharaoh didn't talk, points taken away for using too new-a cards)

Dunkirk (2017)**' (This was a really tense movie, make sure you don't have heart condition going in to it. There was talk of not covering all that happened in Dunkirk, this was two hour movie that told its story very well, it was not a documentary - you can't have it all)

Alan Partridge: why, when, where, how and whom (2017)* (Documentary about Alan Partridge, some things in this I didn't know, but could have skipped it. Actually, it was a hype strategy for the new show starting in the new year)

Mrs Browns Boys D Movie (2014) (Wow, this was so bad. I guess they tried a Bean movie, but failed on all accounts - including the irony of the corporatisation story lost in this production)
Mrs Browns Boys Special (2016)*' (So glad they could get back to normal business after the 'movie'. There is still a bitter taste from it though, but this is back to the basics.)
