Hamilton (2020)** (The mainstay of the liberal American white middle class to prove they can't be racist - I can see the appeal of this, its a good production)
Stargirl s01e08-09*
Agents of SHIELD s07e07'
Central park s01e08-09*
Paul Hollywood Eats Japan s01e01-03' (another push by the Japanese tourist board to show how exciting and open Japan is, just in time for the olympics... wait.. - ironically they all show very similar things, which not only makes it seem as though things are homogenous across the country, but gets quite boring, giving less incentive to visit - the host doesn't really help the situation)
Boruto s01e155-156'
QI s18e08*
The king of Staten island (2020)** (this was a good watch - this NEET thing is suddenly getting explored rather than ridiculed)
The Luminaries s01e01-06*' (not bad, although the premise doesn't really match with the story)
Journey to China the mystery of iron mask (2019)- (Was expecting the pro-China stance, wasn't expecting the pro-Russian stance too - so this movie was just bad on all fronts, acting, story, premise, CGI, pacing, lip-syncing (!), everything. They clearly had the money to bring in famous actors for about 10 minutes - should have spent that on making the movie better - it was like they film three movies separately and just glued it together. But I guess it doesn't matter if it was well received in China and made all the money.)
Palm springs (2020)*' (Not a bad rom-com, mostly it was about the whole Groundhog day thing - although like a lot of rom-coms, things get sorted in the last 2 minutes, with her suddenly realising that she loves him.)
Japan sinks s01e01-10*' (This got a lot of hate - it wasn't that bad. Some big pacing and constant animation issues, also the music was just weird given the tone of what was happening. I think the biggest problem was the unbelievable reactions to people dying - that and question why people were dying given so many other options.)
Close enough s01e01-15* (stereotypical millennial parents the show)
The old guard (2020)* (not bad, but for some reason expected this to be far more epic)
Snowpiercer s01e01-10' (other than the premise still not making sense, it wasn't the best show - felt cheap in many ways)
Tokyo godfathers (2003)**' (enjoyed this, so much story in such a short time)
Welcome to NHK s01e01-24** (when you start to hear your furniture talking, its time to head out of the house - wasn't the happiest about the girls story being explained in 5mins, which was far more tragic than his)
Millennium actress (2001)** (not sure what I was expecting, the non-linear aspect throws you off, but makes sense in the end)
