Continuum s04e04

• Finally, something actually happens, even if its only for 5 mins in the middle of the episode - actually some intrigue about the time traveler and the 'dream'

The player s01e01

• Glad to see Winchester get a role so quickly after Strike back, and with Wesley Snipes
• This show is basically Person of interest meets Hard target - I'm sure something like this has been done before
• They predict crime and rich people bet on whether their hero can stop it
• Decent premise to make a series on, but Alex is very quick to believe everything put in front of him - they really should have stretched it out over two or even three episodes
• This one has potential, provided they don't ruin it after this pilot - it could last a season or two

Nashville s04e01

• Hayden is playing Juliette very well - she is becoming very irritating. Also Steven Tyler, why?!
• Scarlet just needs to get over herself here, she knows what she wants, by the time she acts on it, Gunnar will have moved on, and it'll be two seasons ago all over again
• Looks like the attitude has moved from Maddie to Daphne this season, for obvious reasons
• Speaking of which, didn't Deacon die?!?! I might quite literally went into the white light. At first I thought he was imaginary and only Rayna saw her - but guess not.

The bastard executioner s01e01-03

• Feature for today - the new series by Kurt Sutter of Sons of anarchy fame, where he's brought Katey with him.
• You know, she's had a general trend in her acting career as she's been getting older - Married with children (pivotal sitcom, extremely funny/silly at the time), Futurama (game changing animation, funny but also very clever (and sometimes good at predicting stuff trends)), Sons of anarchy (drama with some humorous elements) to this where its all head chopping and village razing.
• She's also got a weird accent - not sure what it exactly is, part Australian part Jordanian?
• OK so the premise is that there is this warrior that is on the Welsh rebels side against the English overlords as always. He messed with some shipment so the baron burned down his village and killed his kid and wife. He goes for revenge and kills the baron, but decides to brings the bodies back to the barons castle where he claims to be wondering executioner who finds them like that. The chancellor, played here (and very well) by Bill Compton from True Blood, hires him to stay in the castle as a executioner/torturer - knowing full well that he's lying. Also I think Bill here is playing a closet gay guy.
• Can see this going for a series or two, do highly recommend

• I like Dave Gorman - sure he has a simplistic view of things, but he presents them in an amusing way. I don't understand why all the hate

• I cannot believe that much of this is not scripted. People cant be that stupid can they? Surely they being influenced by the cameramen

Heroes reborn s01ep01-02

• Hmm undecided at the moment, I think the past cast hinder the story line, but then people wont watch it otherwise. Wonder if Hayden will turn up..

• Much of the same, focusing on Haley is just boring now, Andy is currently the best thing on the show

Blackish s02e01

• Hilarious episode, 'jackets off - guns out', haha!  

Naruto Shippuuden s01e431

• Another filler, however this time, it was quite different - it showed the physical and mental abuse that Karin had faced as kid, massive departure from the mediocrity of the other filler episode - quite sad, made all the other major characters seem shallow in comparison

Limitless s01s01

• I like it so far, good to see that Bradley Cooper wasn't being a dick about using his image
• Its basically the movie in series form, minus the sex and swearing - I think it would work well as a Tv show
• Nice to see Debra from Dexter has a new role - seems as though she's been typecast though
• Edit: Turns out Bradley is in the show 
• And just like that, it turns into a 'play-by-numbers' cop show

Lost girl s05e11

• You know, you cant just put tails on a 30 year old and make them look like a teenager - in fact I'd say she looks younger in the non-flashback
• Also Linda Hamilton seems to be de-aging

Ray Donavan s03e11

• You could see that happening! Both stories...
• Also, Micky is the worst type of person, and I love it

An inspector calls (2015)

• An adaption of a classic about hypocrisy, elitism and how stupid some rich people are
• No famous actors, probably aids it
• Things happen very fast in this, probably because of the short runtime and the flashbacks

The go between (2015)

• Based on the novel by JP Hartley
• Perfect example showing why you shouldn't flirt with kids
• Also another scything scene??

• Some of this stuff, you would not be able to get away with today, 'poof', 'mrs n**ger-baiter'

• Another bland episode, stop trying to make Sheldon more 'human', you're ruining the character - some people are just like that - doesn't fit into his autistic nature
• Also, the hypocrisy of Penny, but unfortunately Leonard is worse because it just shows that he puts up with her nonsense because she's pretty - shallow

Monty python s02e12

• Great episode...wonder if the queen really did watch that episode?

Downton abbey s06e01

• Once again nothing happened but it was fascinating watching nothing happening, Maggie Smith cannot be topped
• Carson should have not kissed her on the lips... should been forehead and hug, would have been a better ending

Fear the walking dead s01e04

• How are more people not more freaked out in the immediate aftermath?
• Honestly, in a situation like that, you'd just trust the army, liberty stops being a thing when going back to the stone age

Dragon ball super s01e11

• I've never liked the idea of a super sayain god, it seems as though they're making it up as they go along
• Also, are they ever going to reach full power?
