Tomorrow with you s01e01-16** (I sought this out as I like time travel, its a Korean drama - the actors were so over the top dramatic, so sappy, so contradictory (they must have split personalities), everyone kept talking to themselves, so much arm pulling.... but - god damn did they draw me in and get invested. I can see why this show got good reviews.)

Mulan (2020) (I guess from our western point of view, the movie was a poor imitation of the original, but it was obvious that it was made for a Chinese audience - akin to the last airbender except it has a reason why it was bad. It was kinda boring really.)

KonoSuba s01e01-11** (if you can get past the slightly risqué animation, this was actually quite funny)

KonoSuba s02e01-11** (quality maintained)

KonoSuba legend of crimson (2019)*' (wasn't as good as the series, still good though)

Lost in translation (2003)** (had this on my list to watch for a while - apparently it got good ratings due to its relatability - I can see that even though I couldn't personally)

Des s01e01-03*' (was more dramatised than the script demanded, but very well acted)

Great pretender s01e01-14*' (pretty good, different from other animes)

A suitable boy s01e01-06' (This irked me - it was such a mishmash of modern progressiveness but this was completely countered by some 'understandable' (for the time) traditional views. A lot of it didn't make sense, and all of this was exacerbated by the patronising and hypocritical main character)

War with grandpa (2020) (Robert de Nero needs to top up his $7M annual income somehow - terrible)

The binge (2020)' (meh - the purge but worse)

Bill and Ted face the music (2020)* (gets a star simply for the nostalgia - not a particularly standout movie)
